Open air at Kniveton

Chris lives in Kniveton and so was able to make arrangements for an open air gig at the village fête on Friday 3rd July. I think it was remarkably brave (reckless even!) for the folk of this village to take us on!

We set up and had a great time enjoying the welly wanging and a beer before our allotted hour.

The weather was kind and we received a very warm reception from the fête-goers. The A52s are loving this festival season! Two sets were played. The second set ended with the children of Kniveton showing us how well they could dance (which was VERY well!). It was great to play in a village with lots of heart and with a very charming fete. How about next year?

Here’s a few snaps from the Kniveton gig:

Thanks Kniveton for an excellent evening!
