The rebuilding of The A52s

Following Rob’s departure, The A52s have spent a while reinventing themselves.

New arrangements have been worked out. Different types of song have been tried and some have been discarded. The band have become more contemporary, but have not lost the melodic backbone which lies at the heart of the band. Vocals have been strengthened and the band sings a fine three part harmony on many of its songs. Mandolin has been added to the instruments played and Lewis has taken a more central role on accordian. Above all, all band members have to enjoy playing the songs we play. And we do!
